Loltanks

Hi guys!

Well, this was a game in Sk-pandorumbyklub. 1.5h had passed, so all research was done. Then, a newbie from the enemy team started spamming me with tanks like these...

1- Machinegun Vengeance Tracks
2- Plasma cannon Bug Hover
3- Flamer Bug Tracks
4- Sensor Turret Dragon Wheels
and so more

What do you think about these? I am putting what I think, but may be wrong, I am no master.

1- Waste of energy. For a little increase of price, put in a TK rocket instead of MG.
2- Not bad at all, but plasma cannons tend to blow themselves up, specially when low HP. Hover-- a waste of power, for nothing. Tracks would go same speed.
3- Flamer? Use plasmite ones, same price! Tracks? Use something faster. Flamer tracks tend to ged raped by railguns and AT missiles.
4- A dragon has two mountpoints, but only one for systems. A Vengeance hover would be better, and for the sensor turret, it's getting quite a bit obsolete.

I'm waiting for more loltanks. Post them here, we'll laugh a bit!



PD: I adviced him about that tanks. I'm not laughing at him. I was worse when I was a newb (I did research nothing then they came with TKs an I thought "wtf is that" while suiciding my cobras")

Back in the day, the AI would sometimes 'steal' your designs and use them on you (not sure if it was programmed that way in the first place or if it was a mod I was using). So, just to mess with the AI, I designed a Dragon Tracks Minipod Rocket and a Bug Wheels Gauss Cannon. They built both and sent them at me.

I also used to play on Sandcastles and just turtle myself in a lot (because I was quite a newb back then). I would design and build Dragon Tracks Trucks and then rage a little when I saw them using the same unit. And then I would rage even more when their little phosphor bomber VTOLs would burn mine to death.

My opinion about that:

1- Well, good tank for spamming...
2- Good waste of power...not a tank
3- Try Bug wheels, epic one although
4- Not bad at all, you can use bugs
5- Better with MG.
