Why don't we give an accuracy bonus to the direct-fire tanks and cyborgs shooting from highground? Something like -0.5% accuracy for every degree of shooting angle. For example, an unupgraded hpv cannon tank shooting a target that is 20 degrees below the horizon would have 75% accuracy, while the same tank firing back from below would have 55% accuracy. Skirmish only, of course; indirect-fire weapons and VTOL weapons shouldn't be affected, neither should hitting air by machineguns and lancer borgs etc. change.

I think this would provide extra tactical aspect for the game.

I was thinking that maybe an advantage in sight and weapon range would be a better idea.

Having high ground base would be advantage to lesser players as high ground would be harder to take by your suggestion...this is good.

Having the choice of the time of the attack, having the possibility to stay defended behind the cliff instead and being able to focus your firepower on units that try to ascend the cliff...

That's what height advantage look in real life and with a fixed projectiles mechanism it's what we will get. Just wait that the units down the cliff can't idspispopd their projectiles on top...
