Ok, now that you have the shape defined you'll want to get rid of the sharp edges. This may or may not be very labour intensive, depending on the modelling package you are using. I'd recommend using subdivision surfaces if they are available. Also, bevel and edgeloop tools are invaluable. No need to worry about polycounts as long as they are below one million or so...
