Hello,
I have compiled without any problem the 20010801 alpha and the 17 september's latest git. The title screen loads ok, I can go in to the options and change whatever I want (I tried several resolutions/fullscreen and windowed), watch the intro movie. But if I start a new game or the tutorial the game stays stucked at loading screen. The music plays for 3 ou 4 seconds then the game plays another music for 3 or 4 seconds then switches to another one...
Game compiled on ubuntu 11.04 x86 (kernel 2.6.38-11-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP), ASRock 330, Intel® Dual Core Atom™ 330, NVidia ION Graphics (driver version 270.41.06 - X resolution 1920x1200).
Thanks in advance for any tips.

Hmm, never heard of anyone running this game on a Atom and or ION.
I would guess it is a driver issue of some type.
If you are good with gdb, you could start the game and then force a breakpoint, and see where it is stuck at.

Re: Stuck at loading screen 20010801-Aplha or latest git
Hello vexed and thank you,
I tried compiling latest git on ubuntu 10.04 LTS amd64 (instead of 11.04 x86) and it works flawlessly so I guess something is conflicting in my 11.04 installation. I will try to figure it out by compiling with debug modee and come back to report.
See ya,
