No. I dont really agree with you. That is an open source project that start to have issues with user interface cluttering. hehe.
Techology sharing is a cool option to me anyway.

Well, I'm in favor of having allies share technology, but I'm cool either way.Per wrote:Our mission is not to satisfy everyone - but to make the best possible game.
That said, I would certainly be interested in hearing from people who like this feature. So far none has spoken up for it.

Re: Enable/Disable Allies Sharing Technology
The issue in the current research sharing isn't where the symbol is located (though it's been made more obvious in master) it's that 2 players can spend power on research with out any extra benefit (i.e. research faster, or split the cost *hint hint*).vexed wrote:There are valid uses for research sharing, like when you have n00bs on your team, and trying to help them understand how the game works.Per wrote:@Iluvalar It is not hard to do.
However, I do not like adding additional buttons. Our interface is too complex as it is. I think we should just decide one way or the other.
I don't think it should go, and I guess a toggle is the best thing, but as the interface is currently limited, it is a bit harder to find a good location for the sharing resources symbol.
This is why some features aren't implemented: http://forums.wz2100.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=7490&view=unread#p87241
