Sound + image + menu but nothing else happens

Hi!

I just downloaded Warzone 2100 onto my MSI notebook, its a 2008 model and has reasonable specs, I use MAYA and autocad quite frequently and can run these at the same time as the adobe graphic suite so I assume it can run warzone right? I have windows 7 installed.

But when I open up it is SLOoooooooow. The menu shows after a few seconds blackout and then some waiting around. When I press on any of the options the screen image changes I get different music, the static running at the bottom of the screen and nothing else. It continues like that and doesn't go anywhere.

I thought ok perhaps it wasn't installed correctly. So I reinstalled and still exactly the same problem.

Can anyone help me? Is this a known problem?

Which MSI notebook is this exactly ?

99.999% of the time, this is a video driver issue. You didn't specify which model you have, so we can't help past telling you to go update your video drivers.

I think I have realized that my question was inappropriate. After reading the read me doc. I realised that Warzone does not run on laptops right? Well the is what my MSI Notebook model EX700 is. Anyhow I will update my video drivers in any case.

It has a NVIDIA Geforce 8400M GS 3D Graphic Card, so that is good enough for the game.
Just get new drivers from www.nvidia.com.
