HV - which will indicate that an enemy can be riched only by hovers or vtols, ok and lassat

Hello gentlemen

The map is called Water Cog because in preview it look like a cog on water

It is only hover so and vtol map, the enemys/allies can only be reached by hovers and vtols.

The map is for eight players, each player starts on separate island, with 8 oils near them, and another 10 spreaded on his islands. Then yet another 16 on the little islands around the map, so the map is 34 oils per player, 8/10/16. Advanced bases included.

The map is big 240 x 240, it is because I wanted to give you big islands to have terrain to work with, each island is designed in such a way that only one way leads to the mainland from the centre of the map, so you have bigger ability to turtle, yet not so big, but you cannot be attacked directly from any side as it was on my previous islands maps. But still oil derricks are placed near cliffs on purpose.

Inside the main land eight oils allow you to have at least something if the situation gets bad, the rest ten oils around the map is harder to protect, so you are to do it wisely. The oil on little islands around is spread in such way that you can always smuggle one tiny truck somewhere to take oil, the islands are small except those at corners, I made them small on purpose, I did not want to allow building here there and everywhere this time.

The map is supposed to make you be alerted all the time as it is really hard to maintain this sea

HV - when the letters HV are written next to the map's link it means the enemy/ally can be reached only by hovers or vrols. Those are so called islands or water maps on which players are divided from themselvs by water in various ways

Another sign was added to the legend I wonder if the last one

I am not sure if I understand this post..

For a moment I thought that you mean there is some error on a map like oil placed in unaccesible place..

Then I thought you posted wrong pictures accidentally..

And now I have no idea what it is about.. I see a game which I do not understand, and I dont know what on this screens is to indicate oil resources..

I warned you there wasn't a connection but its in the game minecraft (it's a pretty cool game )

And here is what is on screenshots : Light blue is Diamond
Red is redstone, Black is coal, gold is... well.. gold tan is iron,a and the dark blue is lapis luzli

This amount of resources in close proximity is not that common

I also need to clean out my maps folder, I've got more 8 player maps than the game will show me, and I uh... need to make room for more of yours. >.>

Ah yes I had the same problem, I had plenty of gathered during the playing and I had also many of my testing named maps there so it did not see them too until I named them with early letters of the alphabet.. so one beutiful day I got angry I have removed all the maps from the maps folder and inserted mine and mine only there, and it did helped and make it easier a lot.

To sum up

Hello Gentlemen

I was observing for about one month but I cannot stand it anymore.. It happened in the past and now it begun to start again. At least two players are impersonating me.

I know about it almost every time becuse of a simple fact. I use KVIrc, and I am on #warzone2100, #warzone2100-games, #warzone2100-lobby channels. I am there as Merowingg,

The most important is #warzone2100-lobby it shows every game hosted at the moment since I log on it. So it shows who hosts the game, how it is called, what map is being hosted, and even how many players is there in the room at the moment. So if in the name of the room or hosts name is Merowingg, I have authomaticaly a notification signal and the line is highlighted into red colour. It is simply becuse as Merowingg it is set so to let me know whenever someone calls my name to talk to me.

Recently I got a lot of this notifications.. so I decided to react. One of the players whi impersonate me speak english so when I asked him why he pretends to be me, and I said it is pathetic, he started to shut insults on me and kicked me from the room and continued on kicking me so I couldn enter any more.

Another player is from germany and he does not speak a word in english. He often names his room "all gays welcomed here" and "free deutch porn here" when I tried to talk to this one too, it turned that he do not speak english, he only typed "wut wut wut" it interests me how he gave those names then ?? anyway the talking was pointless as he started to type "go go gogo gogo" so I left the room..

Maybe I would not react here too.. but I was reported by my friends that one of them or any other is insulting people.

I do not want a player to insult others using my name, or trying to gain what I have with my name, so this is why I type here some facts about me.

My hosting room is always called Merowingg's 6MAX

It is called so even if I host for four or two people. It always has this name, so please stop asking me if it is for example two players game whay it is 6 MAX, it simply is 6 max dont you get it

I always use orange colour only

I use orange always when I host a game, someone may ask me to give him orange, but i really rarely agree, and if I do so it shows how I like that person. If I playing in somebodys else game, I always ask for orange but if I am not given I sadly play with the other colour.

I very often say "gentlemen" word

I almost spam with it as often as with smileys, my friends know what I am talking about.

I speak english fluently and I am from Poland

That is another fact, if somenoe cannot spak in beutiful english language or have great problems with it, it is not me ! I live in Poland, I know many have no idea where it is so I recommend Googles here.

That is another fact about me, those who visit this thread know what I a mtalking about, but I do my best to make them less lately although it is really hard for me anyway the latest posts show some improvement I dare to say. When in hosting room I also use a lot of those >>>:)<<<

My multiplayer names are as follows Mer, Mero, Merowing, Merowingg, Merovingian, Sir Mero, Mr Mero, VI

All those ranks are of high status, by that I mean those are at least middle rank, with two gold stars especially first few mentioned Especially the ones with middle stars are important as they show how many times I have played, it is no glory to have top and bottom star with pink rank (cheaters, quiters, or fast rank achievers many times have those due to the way they play, I say many here, not all) what counts is the middle star and then other stars and ranks. (my personal opinion)

So feel free to ask me for any of those nicknames to show you, If a player cannot show you any of those ranks, it is not me!

You can wonder why I have so many high ranks, well I record my ranks on CD's since January 2010 whenever I record my maps and other FlaMe files every few months.

Another fact is that I am all the time on Warzone 2100 and Warzone 2100 Games and Warzone 2100 Lobby IRC channels when I am playing so if you want to check if a person in lobby is me type to me on IRC then and ask me If I am in lobby at the moment. I am also at the channels just when my PC is on (so very often) just to talk with friends there and see what is going on at the moment.

I am always on IRC channels when I am testing new maps

My hosting room can have set password

It means I am testing my new map with friends from IRC or alone. Or we are having good game of friends only.

I always say "go gentlemen"

When I want the players to click "redy" when I assume the game is redy to be started.

I never insult people

But I instantly kick them if they insult me, and I do not allow them to enter my hosting room ever again.

I necer cheat

I know all players say so, but honestly.. I have no idea how to use cheats, I simply dont know and I have never needed this knowledge. Players from IRC know what I a mtalking about, there was even a legendary sentence that I am better at making maps than at playing, and I agree about that, at least partly

I always host my maps

It is because I dont have much time to fully enjoy them.. but I may host not my map once in a very very long time.

And the last one, but maybe I should make it first one

I make your maps

As you well know I make maps, so ask the person If he does something for Warzone, and if yes, then waht program he uses, the answer should be of course "FlaMe" Umfortunatelly many knows that I make maps, and what program I use, maybe that is the reason of impersonating me.

In the past I entered a room, and there was a person impersonating me, one of the players said to the imposer "I like your maps" and the imposer said "thank you" can you imagine ?? I couldnt believe there are people who can do such thing. Well I simply cannot understand, does he feels great then ?? feels that he accomplished something ?? a satisfaction ?? Unbelievable.

I made this post because I dont want a player to insult others having my nickname, or feeling that they mean something having my name or accomplished something.

So gentlemen please think twice before seeing Merowingg in lobby, and please remember at least few of things that I have typed here.

Please do not laugh at me.. I did wanted to warn my friends and other players and people just wisiting. I know that you wouldnt bother, or didnt even care or think about it if it would happen in your caase. Well if someone hosts "free deutch porn here", or insult others using my nickname, I think I would be an idiot if I wouldn react wouldnt I ?? I was told on IRC not to bother but I simply couldnt stand it.

If I was Nexus or player or someone with such nick I would consider that it is popular, but Merowingg, it is not extrememly extraordinary or somehow is but you certainly cannot say popular or often meet so we have here doing it with premeditation..

This is one of the common morality rule that doesn't work at all on the internet. On the internet, one usually shouldn't reply at all when he is insulted. In real life, you should reply when you can. In internet, you just simply shouldn't. At all. Completely. That's what i believe, and i wasted enough nerves already because of not believing in it. But it seems impossible to convince people about this until they waste a similar amount of nerve cells trying to shout back to anonymous trolls who are having their fun listening to this sort of shouts. By reacting, you only give them food. Don't give them food and they will starve and disappear. I'm serious. That's how internet communities work. But i'm going slightly offtopic.

Anyhow, i think you already did everything you could. Most importantly, you have made enough friends within this community who know you and will protect you any time somebody actually believes the fake host to be you. Among newbies, normal people will understand the situation quickly enough. Trolls won't ever understand anyway, so why bother.
