Great ! =) I've just checked those two utils. There is everything I need. Mission editor - really easy in use another one more complex, but I think its ok too.

I wonder that I've never seen those utils before O_o . I think if I could I'd made some new cool maps years ago :) but it o.k. Better later than never ;)

whippersnapper: As for the site may be its coincidence but I've started developing my own site too =) For our russian speaking wz funs, but I thing I'll make it in both as in english and in russian.

Anyway tnx for the utils.

Your very welcome. :) I'm glad it's working out for you and look forward to playing with what you create - I have a feeling it will be very interesting and well done. :D

It's a damn shame these utilities "slipped through the cracks" over the last few years along with a bunch of other outstanding WZ works, but hopefully that will change.

I have a sense, even though I do not speak the language, that the Russian community is very strong and gifted and should have their own site. Glad you are gonna make that happen. You will of course be welcome to any content from my site.

How about making a trac ticket and upload those there for people to get them easier, I think trac does not have the same file size limit as the forums.

I don't run the show here so you will have to take it up with the powers that be.

You can be sure when my web site goes live with it's WZ dedicated section I will make decisions that will include posting these items for down load. And if the OSS "true believers" have an issue with any of my WZ decisions they can try and shut me down. And good luck with that too since I have a ten year history - relationship with all the original WZ legal stake-holders. ;)
More like a fluke.
However, I think the reasoning is that it was always meant to be released, but due to circumstances that nobody could foresee it wasn't, but permission was implied.
I have a similar situation that deals with what can we do with the maps that are converted by the wdg2wz utility.
It is a grey area what to do with the maps since we don't have permission from the original map creators, so under German law, that isn't allowed, so Kamaze can't do anything about it.
That is also why, one of these days, I need to find a home where people can stick the converted maps...I was thinking of having a site with a ranking system, where people can vote on mods / maps / whatever, and have it easily available to all.
and it ends here.

There was something like this for years on the old Official WZ 2100 site hosted by Strategy Planet until they recently dumped the whole site after almost 10 years. It was really useful and sharp looking - well done overall, IMHO.

Bronco has duplicated most of the Strategy Planet dumped site on his World Force clan site but not this section. However he may still have a copy of it on his comp.
