suddenly.. radar and engeneering has gone..

I was playing during some days when suddenly the radar info (right, down) and engeneering facilities (graphical left menu) has gone to nowhere. Simply I am not able to build new vehicles, also cannot see where are my unities.

I already removed my .config file, already (3 times) removed/reinstalled warzone but.. nothing. Simply it was removed.

any hint?

I compared the config file here at work (which is normal) and the one at home (where I am experiencing problems); except for the video configurations (cards are VERY different) everything are equal here and there so.. as far as I can see, there are no reasons for this strange behavior

again removed the config file, started warzone (which created a fresh one) and.. no changes.

ir simply remove grouped icon (screen left). No radar at screen right. I am affraid that my warzone lost its best features.

second: this is a "Nvidia 7600GT 1GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI-E VGA DVI HDMI Graphics Video Card" - not a crappy on-board something

anyway today I will simply reinstal this Ubuntu due to other corrupted things. Hope it will solve THIS problem.

If you move everything from your config dir to a temp directory, that might also fix it.
You could have gotten a bad mod/map.

You didn't reply about the drivers though. Could it be you use open-source drivers?

well I was using the nvidia proprietary driver. Now I reinstalled Ubuntu (it is 11.04?/64bit now) and am using OS drivers. BTW, problem now is worse yet: I follow every instruction at "playdeb" site but.. warzone refuses to install (when link is clicked it simply opens blank page). Ubuntu Software center shows warzone2100.data and warzone2100.music but NOT warzone2100 game. Think that it is with Ubuntu people now but I am giving it up.. no games here.

well, you could download the tarball from here http://wz2100.net/download and try compiling yourself ...I don't know if that will work, but is worth a try.
