Unit Transfer Problem

I am playing with the AI and I cannot transfer units to my allies. Why?
I am using Warzone 2100 v2.3.8.

How did you try it ?

I tried it by pressing F5 or the Information Tab, but the unit and energy transfer buttons do not appear.

Try pressing enter on your num pad.

Then you are not doing it right.
I just checked, and it is working as it should.

Try locked teams, then pick a unit, hit F5, then select the tank icon.
The color should change to the other team's color.
