this is a report that the mailing list and submission of bugs dont work. seeing as any info i sent gets turfed due to it not being reproducible. all i do is play the freaking game. it produces error logs - i send said logs and - they are turfed.
frustrating to say the least.
here is a short movie - best viewed at high hd factor - and full screen... look for the error messages in the upper left corner and the non closing blue info box in mid screen that goes from mid screen to bottom of screen - blocks input commands as long as it is in effect - which is approx 30 secs to a full minute... again - all i do is play the game - and all i can do is submitt the error logs as i have been doing. map and save game was uploaded to the mail list/bug report thingy.
dunno what else i can do except get more and more and more and more f@cking frustrated.
The reason I close your bug reports is because I do not see any way to reproduce your bugs. All I see is a long log of stuff that went wrong, that is not correlated with any activity that I could use to figure out why something failed. I need to know what you are doing when it failed, so that I can do the same thing and get the same error. Otherwise it is useless.
As to savegame errors -- yes, we have a big issue with savegames becoming corrupted in master. The problem is that saving data from the old scripting system has been pretty much broken since the BOOL -> bool change, and nobody seems to know how to fix it, probably since the old scripting code is pretty much unmaintainable. So this is a known issue.

As an aside, is this the cause of the problem with 1.10 mod save games in v237 onwards?

As mentioned in the ticket, I'm not sure what happened in 2.3.7, since I couldn't get the 1.10 mod to work there. In 2.3.8, the map-mod support somehow broke loading a savegame with mod.
