Game freezes at Main

After starting the game (from desktop to main menu of game) The game freezes as soon as the menu loads up and the music stops after 3-5 sec. of playing, the turns non-responsive. This is never occurred before and has only just started the day this is posted, and every time i reinstall, i can play it fine once, then every time after that it freezes at the main menu. Any idea how to fix this?

It is impossible to help you if you do not give more information. At the very least - which version of the game, which OS you have, what graphics drivers, what GPU, and so on.

Warzone 2100 2.3.8,
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600)
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
driver version is 6.14.11.8618
installed driver is nv4_disp.dll.

I think that is the basic system data, what else will be needed?

what inside stderr.txt from installation directory?, post it here
