Hi all,
I am a graduate student in Australian National University. I am taking the course COMP8440 which is Free and Open Source Development. Here is the course link: http://cs.anu.edu.au/student/comp8440/
I need to write a report about the information of a free and open source project. And I have chosen Warzone 2100 as my study project.
After searching the website, forum and wiki, I still can not find these information:
1. Legal information. 2.Finances information.
And I am doing the Chinese(Simplified) translation work~ Is anyone else interested in the work?~
Thanks~

Thanks a lot~Ezio
Another question: where could I find the statistics on project contributors in the forum or Wiki, like how many patches the contributor uploaded or how many modifications the contributor made...
I know we could use git to figure out this problem..But that is little bit difficult for me..
Thanks to all any way.
David

Re: Information needed....
For the game its self I suggest looking at the original release and what is covered by other licences as well as an interpretation I gave earlier.davidqinzhe wrote:I need to write a report about the information of a free and open source project. And I have chosen Warzone 2100 as my study project.

Everything that requires an outlay of money that the Project currently does is donated by members of the dev team; we do not accept outside donations at this time.
You can investigate a number of statistics at our github page but if you want to get fine grained data you are going to have to dig into git.davidqinzhe wrote: Another question: where could I find the statistics on project contributors in the forum or Wiki, like how many patches the contributor uploaded or how many modifications the contributor made...

All commit statistics will only tell you about who committed something though, not who originally wrote it.
We want information... information... information.
