Segregating Maps & Mods.
Simply put, I propose that we separate Maps and Mods into their own categories under “Showcase”. There are a lot of mods that tend to be squished between the maps, it is my hope that this can organize things a little.

I didn't notice any. All mods are in a separate tab right now. Probably you have javascript disabled (?)There are a lot of mods that tend to be squished between the maps

Allow me to rephrase that:
Maps and mods that are on the forums, not the addons page.
Maps and mods that are on the forums, not the addons page.

Re: Segregating Maps & Mods.
Oops sorry. So you want a subforum specially for maps in Showcase? Good idea (:

+1
In general, if you see glowing, pulsating things in the game, you should click on them.

Re: Segregating Maps & Mods.
Let me explain why i like it. When i was a newbie, i was anonymously lurking around the forum, looking for interesting maps. And it was pretty hard to find them, because there was a total mess in Showcase. At that time, i would have really appreciated having a subforum where every thread is bound to contain at least one map.

This sounds like an excellent idea
This is why some features aren't implemented: http://forums.wz2100.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=7490&view=unread#p87241
