wish granted - unfortunately the fuel used has a tendency to blow up under certain conditions, raining down parts of exploded cyborgs over the heads of other cyborgs trying to take off, resulting in the total loss of all cyborgs...

While you was having fun with your LFB, you learn that your HPD was, in fact, manufactured by Black Mesa, not by Aperture Science and that such device could open portals to another worlds and even universes unforeseen by the mankind.

Unfortunately, you end up teleporting to a hostile interdimensional alien empire and eventually captured by them as well your HPD. This empire will later exploit & reengineer your "little toy", creating a massive teleporting device, allowing them to invade, conquer & enslave our homeworld in only seven hours
