I like Sourceforge. In the meantime you can tell users with IE that their settings are incorrect. In Internet options click on Security, Custom Level, then look for "Open files based on content, not file extension" and change that to Disable.

Same thing happens when downloading a map with IE8. Perhaps the Faq for how to install a map could also use the same comment as was done for the Videos.

Okay, I fixed downloading maps/mods, they shouldn't be renaming themselves even on IE8 anymore.
