Hi everyone,
I want to suggest two changes in language.
My first suggestion refers to the name of cannon upgrades.
First you research "Cannon Autoloader", in German "Selbstladende Geschütze".
The next technology improving the rate of fire is called "Cannon Rapid Loader", in German "Schnell ladende Geschütze".
I always get confused when reading "Rapid Loader" because I thought I already researched fast firing cannons. Until I remember that I researched autoloader.
For me autoloader sounds like the faster one to reload because it is not only an improvement like loading faster (rapid loader) but it is done automatically.
Therefore I suggest to change the name of the upgrades. First you research "Cannon Rapid Loader" and after that "Cannon Autoloader".
I admit that in English it may not be as obvious as in German, but in German "Schnell ladend" means something is done faster while "Selbstladend" suggests the impression of being as quick as possible (which makes it so confusing for me as a German player).
My second suggestion refers to the abbreviation of names of technologies in English.
For example: In English a technology is called "HE Rockets" while in German it is called "Hochexplosive Miniraketen" or in English "High explosive Rockets".
Another, more confusing example: "APFSDS Cannon Rounds".
How should somebody not knowing the game imagine what this upgrade does?
In German it is called "Panzerbrechende, flügelstabilisierte Treibkäfiggeschosse für Geschütze". It may be longer, but just because of the name you can imagine what this upgrade is for. Furthermore I always mess up the upgrades in English because I can´t remember all the short cuts and which one I may have already researched and what is going to come later on which is bad because you don´t know which technology will be revealed next.
Therefore and specially for new players I suggest to spell out the names.
Thank you in advance,
Asgorath
