I see the idea to have WZ on the ps3 has been tossed around a bit but it seems that everyone wants to try to run it on yellowdog( ps3 linux) which sony no longer supports, so why not try to work with sony and make it run under XMB (sony proprietary os), this would give access to the ps3 GPU eliminating quality of play/game speed issues, as far as the controller issues ps3 already supports usb keyboards and mice nativley. The biggest hiccup is working with sony but that doesent seem to be to big of a problem for even small software developers - even angry birds has been ported to ps3 so why not wz, I would be more than happy to shell out 15 -20 dollors on the playstation store to cover the development cost. Since the ps3 has an onboard hdmi port the best part would be having wz playing on a bigscreen tv, which i already have anyway through the hdmi card on my pc, but others could enjoy as well, and i have got to tell you after playing it on a few systems i have found that wz is best appreciated on a 40" HD or larger display area. it is easily twice the game on such a large hd display.
Go ahead and tell my why this is not possible.
And thank you for such an awesome game !

Re: ps3 revisited
any time you want this to happen - donate any six figure amount to the sony company and they will let you know if they are interested in this game. most here do not have that kind of $$$$$$$$$$$. ok?
seriously - thats what it would be.
if not more.

Re: ps3 revisited
Ouch.. i see even at $20 a pop thats 5000 copies needing to be sold to reach 100000, I am surprised it would cost so much though, the game has already been compiled for so many different processors, and has run on the ps1 it doesent seem like theres much more development needed. when i win the lottery i'll be sure to make that 6 fig donation lol
