Game freezing if i am host

ok i am hosting 8 players with 1k dsl connection after there are to much units the game is freezing for 1 min - 10000 min( its lagging/freezing if i send many units to go somewhere)
why is it freezing? if I play skirmish or join a other internet game it doesnt, no matter how much units are there
my pc is ok and i have windows 7 , i dont understand why it is freezing, cant that be fixxed? i can't play normal if i am host

firewall isnt blocking it
all people had a ping of 100
the game always hang up and i have to restart it
thats always the same with the multiplayer, strange multiplayermodus?

Because of the crappy original netcode. Discussed over 9000 times and, most importantly, fixed in master by a full netcode rewrite (that's why we are presented with special alpha builds -> to finally enjoy a network game free of hangs, lags and desynchs).

Still, hosting smaller maps with less people decreases host hangs to almost nothing.

yes, the upcoming 3.0 release should fix this.

Sweet there is a new version coming out!? That's good to here, sorry can't really help out with this problem...I don't know EVERYTHING about this like those guys do...by bad...
