warzone 1940? warzone 1969? warzone 2010?
I think it would be really interesting to see warzone period mods where you have only the conventional weapons of a period, like WW-II or Vietnam or Pakistan middle east. Battleships, airplanes, aircraft carriers, mortars and large guns, plus tanks and ground troops instead of cyborgs. I think it would be doable with the current developments. The trick would be to keep the weapons and defenses authentic. Just my 2 cents. Ric

It would.
I've also been thinking of a WW-II campaign with the most famous battles remade (?)
Most of this can be done via mods.

You bet! General Patton and I share the same birthday. Imagine having to use trucks to lay tracks for one of those German railroad car loaded monster cannons. And ships, as you develop you get larger size ships and larger guns. Simple flattops evolve into Aircraft Carriers. Biplanes to single winged attack aircraft then to bombers. When you develop to B-29's you can drop incendiaries and finally the Big Un. Me, I am no coder by any stretch, but I would hope that this would be relatively simple to do? Then, like you said, lay out famous battles. I think that would rock and people would flock to assist warzone development. Heck, you could do Civil War re-enactments, jungle warfare, modern civil insurgency, you name it. It's an idea! Ric
