Ive searched the forums on how to install the videos correctly and followed all of the instructions but while playing the game the video sequences are nothing more than a blip and then goes right to the mission briefing in text.
I downloaded WZ v. 2.3 and the videos and copied them into C//: Program Files/ Warzone 2100/ as instructed.
The game runs fine but id like to see more than a "blip" for a video.

what operating system.

original instructions.
Video instructions: Place sequences.wz in folder Program Files/Warzone 2100/sequences.wz

i installed this way for a reason - it makes it a lot simpler to track down problems in windows xp/vista/Seven.
install to root c:\ (ie:) C:\Warzone 2100
then your going to get this once you set your options.... you will have to look under the users \ your name \ documents

like this : C:\Users\ your name \Documents\Warzone 2100 2.3

ok?

Hello, i'm having the same problem as the OP.

My operating system is Windows 7.

As the poster has said, what happens is the video starts playing for example:

Briefing commences

However instead of the video briefing, it just stops and is given in text form instead.
Transmissions from NP for example just goes "Incoming tranmission" > Logo shows > Faze to fuzz > Video stops.
