Getting into the game!

Ahoy guys!

My appoligies if this question has been posted before but I'm a noob to this site >_>

I have the 1999 PC version of Warzone 2100. In the time that I have played it, I've had a windows 95, ME and now an XP.

I PLayed it fine on 95 and ME but now I've tried to play it for the first time on XP, it says "Sorry, not supported on Windows NT." It sounds crazy, but I havent actually got windows NT, I have XP lol.

Any ideas on why it says it?

because xp is based on nt.... believe it or dont... ;D any ways - if you have the original disks (2) do an install and quit. then apply the 1.10 patch ... the game (original) needs the cd in the cd drive to play. there is a patch for nocd... all the patches can be had from the warzone 2100.de site - in their downloads section.

or you can download the current release of the warzone 2100 GPL . difference main = no fmv/cutscenes or music as these were not released to gpl. see the many many many many...etc posts about this elsewhere on this site.

Yea, that's about as far as I got with Warzone 2100 also, but I just found out about this resurrection, and am wondering what I'll need to get from 1.10 to this 2.06 ?? Please.

Always have been a fan of the game.

Try the installer and post back if it doesn't work... pretty much the only way.
