@1 I only meant that the barrel shouldn't be static, but have some mechanism to rotate it veritcally

That Twin-MG looks just fantastic. One minor thing, though: Like the original model it has blue color code. I have always been of the opinion that this was done accidentally by Pumpkin. Blue color is for cannons, all MG except for the Twin-MG have yellow color coding. Maybe this would be a good opportunity to change this. Of course, making the complete weapon bearings yellow is too much. Maybe some yellow accents on the lids of the bearings would be good, like those yellow-and-black "Keep fingers off or they are off!" bands.

Looks nice. But I think almost all works looks good on IDE screenshots, but I never saw them in-game. I think should be created a global mod that could be modified by every MODer so all new stuff could be examined by common players (just copy & play).
Anyways twine MG looks good.

I agree with C_P, the blue on the TMG always bugged me. It looks nice.

Re: Models by macuser
I never thought about it like that before, but Corporal Punishment makes a very good point. It would probably be better as yellow.macuser wrote:Hmm what does everyone else think?

I don't personally have such a strong opinion on the subject, but I do see CP's point, maybe it's worth a try?

There's something about the fins on the barrels that don't really fit in with the way the rest of the turret has been textured / modeled.macuser wrote:Hmm what does everyone else think?
Maybe removing the fins and adding some signs of use / darkening the ends of the barrels would be better.
Just a thought / my opinion (i.e. take with a grain of salt.)

Re: Models by macuser
I believe Pumpkin made the TMG bearing blue to easily discern them from plain MG. These two turrets are quite tiny (if not the tiniest IIRC), if they were colour-coded the same way it'd be way much more difficult to tell them apart...Corporal Punishment wrote:One minor thing, though: Like the original model it has blue color code. With this new TMG model, we have two separate weapon bearings instead of the "merged" one; maybe this time it'll be easier to distinguish the TMG from the MG, even if said bearings are plain yellow.

I think I prefer blue, otherwise it'll start looking like Caterpillar machinery.Corporal Punishment wrote:That Twin-MG looks just fantastic. One minor thing, though: Like the original model it has blue color code.
