You probably made a mistake when entering the parameter:

Code: Select all

"C:\warzone2100.exe --cheat"

Is wrong, but the following is correct:

Code: Select all

"C:\warzone2100.exe" --cheat

Sorry I must have been asleep or something. Version 2.0 beta? I can't rememer us ever releasing that. Could you look into our release download directory and tell me which of those you have ?

Basically there are these versions (oldest first, newest last):

• 2.0.3
• 2.0.4 RC1 (release candidate 1)
• 2.0.4 RC2 (release candidate 2)
• 2.0.4
• 2.0.5 RC1 (release candidate 1)
• 2.0.5
• 2.0.6
• 2.0.7

I'm sorry but that version really does classify as ancient. Ancient enough so that I wouldn't know how to enable cheats on it.

is there anyway for me to keep my saved game, but uninstall the game and reinstall the new one?

Create a backupcopy of your current instalation, uninstall it and reinstall 2.0.7. Trying is probably the only way to know.

Hi, I'm using openSUSE Linux 10.2 and WZ (2.0.7) is working pretty fine, but when I enable cheat mode I can't activate any cheat, when I press 't' I can type just one letter, at the time I type another the first one dissapears, so the whole word never gets typed, what can I do???

BTW I'm new to this forum, so thank you very much for this site, and for bringing WZ back to life!!!

Sounds like some kind of buffer overflow protection gone nuts. You might want to try & disable whatever piece of software that attempts to prevent buffer overflows with warzone.
