First of all, before I move on to the subject, I'd like to give a big fat "thank you" to the developers and artists involved in this project.
I played WZ2100 back on PS1 and was completely enthralled by it. It's easily one of the most fascinating RTS's I've encountered. A few days ago I stumbled upon the old CD and googled in search of maybe a couple of screenshots or background music, more out of nostalgia than anything else. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was not only not dead, but ported and updated literally last month!
I know how hard it can be to keep doing something while running on bare enthusiasm. This is even more true since we're talking continuous development, not just a one-shot mod. I am amazed at the amount of effort put into this resurrection project and immensely grateful to everyone taking part in it.
This praise might seem a tad overblown, but you guys earned every word of it
Now, without further ado, some things I was wondering.
For the last few days I've been casually going through the campaign in 2.3.5 with original 1.10 balance installed. The reason is twofold: firstly, I wanted to play it exactly as it was back in the days on PS1 (hence 1.10) and, secondly, I was reluctant to install a version with a "beta" in it, afraid it could ruin the nostalgic experience with glitches and crashes (hence 2.3.5). It means exactly this, and I'm not denying all the progress you made with this game.
While referencing the turret stat page I noticed there was no Cyclone AA (just got to that part in the game). A few minutes of forum lurking later I knew it was replaced in 2.3.5. with two other AA guns. Well, no biggie.

Since I'm not much of a multiplayer man, I'd like to ask:
1). The old-1.10-balance.wz file is by default located at ...\Warzone 2100\mods\multiplay\. Does that mean it only restores original balance for MP, leaving single-player campaign unaffected (i.e. in its 2.3.5-balance version), and I'm missing something here?
2). Assuming rebalancing was urged by multiplayer reasons, were the campaigns ever taken into account throughout the process?
3). This one's for the ArtRev team: will there be models/textures for originally-present-but-later-removed units? I'm not sure that, aside from Cyclone, anything was removed at all, but asking just in case.
Thanks in advance, and keep on rocking
