I heard that multi-targeting sensors is on the way, which is sweet news. I'm also curious as to what else is currently being tested.
Maybe some of the new features can convince some more people to test the version because at the very least, the long-awaited multi-target sensors is on the way (or so I hear from posts).
Does anyone want to spill the beans?
EDIT:
This is where I heard that the sensor feature had already been added.

I may as well ask here. Is there a file I can delete to return the scavengers to normal difficultly? Tried the harcore campaign mod and its unplayable with the crazy scavengers.

I don't know, to be honest.Project wrote:I may as well ask here. Is there a file I can delete to return the scavengers to normal difficultly? Tried the harcore campaign mod and its unplayable with the crazy scavengers.
I've finally found the master version (20101114) and found many new things in there, including:
*drumroll*
1: Sensors that actually paint more than one target
2: A little icon that appears when you highlight defenses. For direct weapons, you can see an eye when the defenses spot a target. For indirect weapons, that eye turns to a red version of the "assign to sensor" icon, meaning that it's using the sensor to shoot at enemies.
3: A new power system. Instead of using all power before building a structure, the power is used as the structure is being built. Same thing with research and manufacturing.
4: Demolishing takes longer.
These are the things I found so far.

Anyone know where the save files are located?
I had an idea on creating a 'campaign' map with debug mod then uploading it as a save file.

Savegame file Location
I found this info on the Wiki pages, you can get there by clicking on the "Development" tab, which is right next to the "Forum" tab, at the top of this page. I found lots of other neat stuff there as well, check them out..
