Greetings

I decided to observe for a very long time but I cand stand it no more..

First of all, do you think the size matters ?? do you think the amount matters ?? do you think only Warzone limits stops you from making the best map on the world ??

You dont ask for help and nobody cares, but I begun to care becuse I cant stand..

I suggest you to use flaMe 1 10 but I think the older versions also says something when you make maps 10 000 x 10 000 arent they ?? they say map is too big master you do it as big on your own risk.. so let me explain, do no do bigger than 250 x 250 or you will fail again.. The reson for the map being laggy might be various, but second part now..

I have made map on which i have put almost 800 objects, and i think it is highest border, it is advisable not to put more, becuse you will fail again, game can not run 9999999999 features, I see quantity for you also matters so try to stop yourself, think for a moment, and make 800 fetures most
Help needed :
- need somebody to host my map.I cant host so if someone can host it then please send a message if you can and il test the map
and i will record the battle so i can post the video!
well I understand you are in need, and honestly I am happy people want to make maps, but dont you think making a map without being able to host it is like giving car to a blind to drive ?? cant you do anything to be able to host ?? I admire you for your persistence but at the same time this is totally crazy, and wish you people to help you

And another thing is that the best way to check which features belong to which map is to place all features on each map, and run the map to see if it turns blue, isnt it ?? but agin you cant host..

And this is not the matter of the limits as you said that stops you, try understand that it is you to create masterpiece with tools you have, dont blame them that they work bad, becuse they are just excellent, it is only the masters of craftsmen can create beutiful from nothing, the sculpture does not have to be made with best tools on the world and of gold to be the best in the universe

You are trolling...I played on 256x256 i think and it had about 100 to 200 or even 300 objects...
I have a bad computer,old,damn recesion...I cant buy medium end pc ;-(

He might be exaggerating a bit, but it's mostly just constructive critique.
He does make some good points, even if you have a low-end computer you can still make good smaller maps.
It will be much easier to make a quality map that is not so large.

You might also consider not using a lot of features, these are not essential to a map ..

A few more thoughts on this debate ... may i? (:

Yeah, warzone engine might be not enough to make amazingly beautiful and epic maps you have in mind, MetalWarrior95, but playability should be considered as well. Large maps result in long games not everyone can afford to play in multiplayer; and even when one can spend that much time playing them, one can still prefer smaller and less beautiful maps, because they provide a very different experience. A large map is not necessarily good, though some are definitely needed. Still, warzone is a big and flexible game and "has many parts" (c): while some members of the community seek balanced and well-designed maps for multiplayer games, others may look for a beautiful campaign-like map suitable for a good comp stomp.

For example, this map is hardly beautiful, but strategy ideas merged in it make it, probably, the best duel map ever. Those strategy ideas come from a vast online gaming experience the author has, and they can't be invented by a simple instant act of creativity; a lot of training is required for this.

I know but big maps/battlefields,they are good for strategies...well i for now made 1 urban map and iam waiting to be auuthorised by admins so people can download it on addons!

Its good but without AI"s...

Hello, i've just tested your maps a little (:
BridgesOfHope looks unbalanced (highly asymmetric, favoring some players over the other), so it's good mostly for skirmish or 1vs1 matches, rather than for good FFA or 2x2 games. You may also want to make challenges for it ;)
Still, UrbanWarfare looks like a good tiny duel map (: Even though it's asymmetric too, i wouldn't say it's unbalanced without a more careful investigation.
Your style of texturing and featuring is also very curious, i think i'm learning something from it (: The maps are beautiful (:

My maps...Well my 2c map urbanwarfare rated 2.5(Unfair...),4c map BridgesOfHope was rated 0.5!!
What the hell?!?!Its good but only if you play in full bases!!...

Also i started my mod...I can map but i need atleast one scripter,modeler that can make models and covert them and people that know how to animate...Look at moddb...WZ2100 - Solar Assault(2124)..Its not aprooved yet but i got a group called BrainDamage Entertainment and with the same name a fangroup...If you want to join dev team then just go to developers and type braindamage entertainment...

Did you read the reviews attached to the rating? The ratings could go up or down if anyone else reviews them, btw. Now that I've reviewed them they're in map limbo (a new feature of the addons/review page), so I can't read what I wrote about them. IIRC urbanwarfare was unbalance in oil and base size. There must have been a problem with BridgesOfHope.

Also, FWIW, a rating of 1 would be a bad map, 3 would be an average map, 5 would be a perfect map.
