Considering the fact that it branched off the HVC, I think it would be logical for the Flak Cannon barrels to use the HVC texture and also for the gun to sound similar, if not the same.

I mean it's implied this flak cannon is pretty much two hyper velocity cannons on an AA traverse mount and loaded with airburst flak rounds.

In that case, I would suggest reducing the projectile speed of the V-weapons so they are only effective against slow-moving aircraft.

I remember that once I made myself a mod which slowed down all projectiles so even tracked units could dodge them XD

All weapons have target prediction. You'd need to micromanage VTOLs to dodge them. Do you still think this is a good idea?

why don't just change cyclon & wirlwind stats , so not to add a new models ? because this new FLACK almost the same as cyclone model

Hmm I see...
Unfortunately my experience with really low-oil maps is quite limited to give any more useful feedback, and in medium-and high-oil, it's not really an issue since V-weapons are already quite inferior to true AA.

...because the point isn't to make AA stronger; it's to make AA more diverse.

I'm back.

First this is awesome. As far as Zarel's question goes, I would suggest significantly reducing accuracy aginst VTOL's, if possible. A targeting system made for attacking ground targets would not be the most effective weapon against air targets. Another addition along these lines would be a air defence radar, that only picks up VTOL's, and scrambles VTOL's after them. Unless that will happen now when you assign these AA VTOLs to a radar.

The current VTOL strike towers will already send VTOLs after air targets, but it's buggy, and should not be used. Patrol, on the other hand, already does exactly what you're asking for.

That's the point. :|

People need to realize and internalize that Patrol is pretty much the only way you can use VTOLs defensively. Never use VTOL strike towers. Never use Circle.

The Sunburst AA is missing an explosion sound (at least from when I played Warzone).

All of them, even RC 3. I checked the weaponsounds.txt file and didn't find it.
