Looks like that's new in gcc 4.5. Fixed.

Re: Trunk snapshot builds (last update: Sept 4)
I checked out the latest svn and successfully compiled. Then I played the Quick Play with the new build and fonud out that I cannot group my tanks -- the Ctrl+Number keys either act like Esc or do nothing. Resetting keybord settings in WZ does not work.
Shall I make a ticket?

Works here. Have you tried removing your config folder so it uses the defaults? Or a full rebuild (make distclean;./autogen.sh ...)?

Strangely, nothing wrong when I restarted playing it...

Re: Trunk snapshot builds (last update: Sept 4)
Quick question: is it a bad idea to start playing the campaign with trunk builds? Will I experience issues with game saves compatibility with future (or past stable) builds?

Chances for those kinds of issues are really low, and even if they happen, just use an older version until you finish the campaign.texmex wrote:Quick question: is it a bad idea to start playing the campaign with trunk builds? Re: Trunk snapshot builds (last update: Sept 4)
Ok I am not new to WZ 21K, but I am new to mods and Different Builds. Does the new AA like the flak cannon and sunburst show up in single player campaign or not? If not is there a way to make them do so

Re: Trunk snapshot builds (last update: Sept 4)
I've played now some skirmish games and i found some bugs. (Tell me if i should create some tickets).
1. AI armies are only cyborgs. (Most of them are armed either with standard flamers or repair. Thats very funny (but it becomes very fast very sad) when you see all the bots are running against your walls and they can't even defend themselves.
2. The Laser satellite lost the timer between shots. You can fire as fast as you can click....
3. I'm not sure if thats a general problem with the new textures, but i had some experiences with VTOL Pads which are hiding under the textures...

Or I simply install it on PC ?? what is the procedure ??

yeah they use the same folder structure. if you want wz and the trunk at the same time, then use an other main folder for example WZ - Trunk and WZ the you have no problems. If you want create a trunk WZ then replace your WZ with the Trunk.Merowingg wrote:I have questions.. I am sorry if silly ones..

Yes, you can have trunk and 2.3 on same PC without any bigger problems, only if you install them in diffrent folders.Merowingg wrote:I have questions.. I am sorry if silly ones..

Note that trunk and 2.3 keep their files on diffrent locations, so you will have to copy your maps, mods and savegames, althought most mods and savegames from 2.3 won't work in trunk(maps will).

Re: Trunk snapshot builds (last update: Sept 4)
I Hacked a automated build script together that will build trunk everyday, you can find windows, macosx 10.5, and ubuntu amd64 builds here:
http://hiramvp.homeip.net/wzbuilds/nightlies/
I did not test the windows and linux builds and don't know if my build script is correct. So no guarantees.

If you are going to distribute nightly mac builds, please insure that you also post a tarball of the .dsym bundles that are generated with it as they contain valuable debug info and are specific to the build they were generated from.Hiram wrote:I Hacked a automated build script together that will build trunk everyday, you can find windows, macosx 10.5, and ubuntu amd64 builds here:
