I will gave you two nice sounds, feel free to use them.

First one is ok, but second one sounds like an air leak.

Ok, here are some screenshots (one with smooth, other without smooth)

Converted to .PIE format, added teamcolours, added a connector plus the muzzle flash, resized correctly and merged most of polygons to reduce polycount.

I changed the barrel texture from the default Flak to Hyper Velocity Cannon (two octagonal cilinders) to look more modern than the default aa guns.

I still not added yet in-game for size comparison, but i will do it sooner, just hang on.

I used the cyclone barrel texture to avoid confusion with twin assault cannons or even the whirlwind. Also, it'll probably be researched before the whirlwind and after the hurricane, looking at the prereqs, so it could be considered an intermediary tech AA gun, not more advanced than the current ones. Apart from that, the texture looks a bit wrong, the brighter part should be on top and on the bottom, so that the whole gradient of the "round" simulation is divided between two faces, and not entirely in each face.

Also, did you add more faces to the barrel? (from what you wrote, I understand you made them 8-sided) :hmm:

But hey, don't take that as depreciation - it's really a pleasure to have someone as skilled as you helping us out! It's just that I like to take even the slightest details into consideration (please note that I also miss some of them when I'm making models, that's why I appreciate good, detailed feedback) :P

I've found a small limitation - only 7 connectors are allowed to export by blender plugin. :(

my mistake

ok, here it is.
right dimensions, all needed connectors, right texture flags for a polys. (all are checked in the game)
Zarel, all you need is to adjust pie files in txt editor for proper team color changing. I don't want to do that because after having a 6 hours sex with blender I don't want anything. I hate blender, I hate its pie plugins which full of bugs and I hate blender's unfriendly-shitty interface.

Sorry KuKy, I will not help you with your models.

I will not do anything for 2.3 version anymore, only for trunk. (yeah, because of TCmask feature).

Hmm some Questions:
Bombarded by Collective VTOLs, the Project's Hurricane AA turrets weren't strong enough to repel the increasing numbers. Desperate for a better anti-aircraft weapon, Project engineers modified the Mini-Rocket Array to create the Sunburst AA Rocket Array, which they hoped would be enough until they researched true SAMs.
Afaik the AA-evolution went from fast firing small calibers to fast firing big calibers to guidet SAM.
Has there ever been a Surface-to-Air-System based on small unguidet rockets that was realy usefull? Afaik not.
So imho the Sunburst firing (at this gamestate) unguidet minirockets wouldnt fit the relativ realistic WZ2100-Techtree. Or?

The AA Flak Cannon looks pretty impressive!
Afaik too, most multi-barrel-AA-Systems dont fire the barrels simultaneous but alternating, to encrease the overall cadence/rate of fire an with this the probability of a hit.
Would it be possible to designe a weapon with alternating muzzleflash? That would be something total new in WZ and might look realy cool ^^

This is true; unguided mini-rockets as a surface-to-air weapon is extremely inefficient, and not something that's done in real life. Unfortunately, we needed an AA rocket since we don't get missiles until T3, and balance trumps fluff, so the Sunburst is kind of explained as a product of the unique situation the Project is in. I mean, in real life, air attacks aren't mostly done by VTOLs and cyborg transports...

During WW2 the british actually did some (unsuccessful) attempts at unguided AA rocket weapons
