That is what is left of Warzone Creators, Pumpkin Studios, Retail Web Site for Warzone 2100 from 1999 & originally hosted by MPlayer. Member Bronco kept it alive for many years and has preserved this part of it. The original Pumpkin Forums for the game were lost over the years when MPlayer changed hands and all fell under the purview of Strategy Planet.... then, alas, Strategy Planet decided they had no more server space for a decade old RTS game that was liberated.... that's when Bronco put it on his Clans server... preserving, at least some of the history of the original, commercial, game.

It also has a fraudulent copyright line. This is what happens when non-lawyers write copyright lines without familiarizing themselves with the relevant laws.

Anyway, that site was lost to the ether for a long time, but recently some guy named HelixLance decided to rehost it. No idea why, but it's a nice little bit of history, that site.

It should probably make it more obvious that it's no longer the official Warzone site, though. Heck, we could probably send them a legal notice informing them we hold the common law trademark "Warzone 2100" and they are infringing with their use of the word "official", but that's a bit too mean for my tastes.

It is pretty weird that HelixLance seems to be pretending on his site and forums that the Warzone 2100 Project (our site) doesn't exist, though.
