I think pacifier, three medals, and three stars colours in three positions are not enough..

I think rank should be more complex, much more medals to get and for different things

It is far to easy to get all medals.. and too soon, and also players who quits any game they lose and only finish the ones they are winning get the maximum rank too soon..

I would add features on rank that look more cool, maybe not only stars, but squares or triangles, colours, each of which would indicate something else..

And rank "wall" should be bigger, so that specific rank set would be clearly visible in more complex rank, for example litle balck rose in the right top corner would mean the player played 1000 games.. and all other woud think "awesome this guy must be playing for ages.."

Or red heart in the left top corner, which would mean he killed 10 000 units in total..

Or an icon of fire which wuld mean the player destroyed 1500 main base structures..

Or an icon of tiger which would indicate that the player uses havy units

Or an icon of feather which would mean the player uses light units only

The icon of tank which would mean he had manufactured over 10 000 tank units

The icon of cyborg - 10 000 cyborgs

Also a lot of medals t oget.. three only is not enough, i would make ten or even fifteen, so the one, the player with the fifteenth medal would be really unique and all would say "wow.." when he enters the room.. becuse he had won 500 times, but not necesarily in a row..

Or special rank for which wote other players, for example hand, the hand would be given by fifty wotes of the beginners here on forum for the player who helps beginners a lot..

Special colour squares which would indicate any othe multiple things..

All I want to say is to make rank more unique, more diverse, with special eye candy features, for which the players would fight and compete,

More more more complexity the Warzone rank asks for in my opinion.. for more features and statistics.. so a player is unique..

And those examples above are just examples, all icons and features my be even more diverse

And should be displayed clearly, on a bigger square, the hosting room uses hardly over a half of the screen, there is enoug place to make all even more functional, and here.. rank window bigger and visible, with multiple features..

It is just my idea.. and I know not simple to obtain..

Only three medals is not enough, and some are too easy to get as well, (first and second medal.) also there is another important problem at the moment , it is currently impossible for windows users like myself to get the top star for kills, with out playing in a older version such as 2.2.4, and the score in multiplayer is broken at the moment as well, it allways stays at 0. :(

Well, you can always edit your stats file :P

Well, you can always edit your stats file :P

Well.. the day I learned one can edit his rank and improve it.. I got very disappointed..

A way to protect it from hacking is needed too i see now.. or at least make it harder for anyone..

Or even reduce your rank to noting as a punishment for hacking it via smart program which would realise that :)

How do ranks even matter? A higher ranked player doesn't have any unfair advantage over a lower ranked player. It's just an ego boost. Plain and simple. It's as irrelevant as the scores at the end of the game.

The only way to have ranks hack-proof is to have them saved in a central server location along with the player profiles. As long as it's in the hands of the client machine to decide the ranks/medals, it's always going to be hacked one way or the other imo. Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong.

How do ranks even matter? A higher ranked player doesn't have any unfair advantage over a lower ranked player. It's just an ego boost. Plain and simple. It's as irrelevant as the scores at the end of the game.
Well I think for many people it really matters :) And scores are nice feature too :) it brings some information about how you did in game :)

And central server system would be nice too :) but i know it is really far ahead thing to do.. and I know.. that.. people will cheat and hack till the end of the world..

Hacking your rank is bad for you, unless you purposefully lower it, but not too much.

People will look at ranks when trying to balance teams if they don't know everyone well.

So making yourself look better = get stuck with a worse ally.

And as to hacking your rank lower... you can always just create a new player name, and that isn't hacking, its just an alias.

Well In my opinion manipulating with rank in any way is a very bad thing to do.. even terrible..

Maybe lowering it is not so bad.. I didnt even know one can lower it..

I think making many new nicknames when one is reached fully is good :)

Well I have also noticed that people with good ranks are attached to those worse ones.. not always but still.. I think it is unavoidable due to so called rebalancing or making equal system of thinking :)

I changed my name from "Zarel" to "Zarel[BDC]" once, and my stats are always near 0 since I reinstall my OS so much (unless I go copy my old 105:21 W/L stats file from its backup), and people still stuck me with a worse ally. :|
