It says that it can not connect to the remote server on my windows computer when i click on the irc box on the warzone site.

Likely ports are being blocked in your firewall or router.

"Only" for Firefox or Chrome or Opera or Konqueror or Safari or Internet Explorer 8 or Internet Explorer 7...

...in fact, as long as you're not using Internet Explorer 6, you should have no problem with it...

He meant to say that that problem exists only with his Firefox browser, but then he very recently gave the webchat a try with the Internet Explorer browser and it worked fine. Well, that's what he told me when we talked on IRC. Maybe some script is getting blocked?

maybe a firewall is blocking firefox outgoing irc connections only? (they're not on port 80, are they? just curious)
