The Project isn't the US military, or any military.

Right at the beginning, all scavengers dont have to be connected y'know. Makes more sense that way, simply because they're scavengers. Would make sense to see them rabble amongst themselves every now and then.

If the New Paradigm was originally hostile they'dve sent task forces to route you out right from the begining, from the forward base near Alpha HQ

Not wanting to get off-topic :hmm:

But after i saw all those posts in this thread + reading a bit of articles on wikipedia regarding about real-life conflicts around the world, one question comes right now on my head that probably will be never answered for ages:

Why we make war? For what reasons?

Indeed an interesting question. My theory is that man is divided, disagreements occur, and violence is seen as the answer. :hmm:

But that may be getting too deep into politics.

Greed, power, wanting to impress the opposite sex, it all relies on instinct, only to be adapted on a larger scale by technology.

*clears throat* First post.

Interesting question, although if war was not there to regulate human population, we'd have overpopulated the Earth by now and caused global catastrophe, and fighting said wars over cans of dog food.

Also greetings from the super scavenger.

true, resources would be a major contributor to war. but nexus was out for genocide, i doubt any amount of project/ paradigm/ scavenger alliances would have stopped that war.

i found that out last Sunday... in person... to the back of my head.. -.-' But war is a fickle thing, in some cases there are wars merely because of a lack of war, like in some ares of the middle east, people fight because its all they have been taught to do.

Middle Eastern is a very "explosive area"

Sooner, there will be Iran War because of their controversal nuclear program (which i dont believe they'll use for pacific and civilian ends only combined, with their crazy government => another country blasted by USA)

Israel & Gaza will never be friendlies anymore, just like another neighbors of Israel (The hatred against the israelis is so big and unnecessary, and for which damn reason they hate them???)

Afghanistan is a hell as crap. US soldiers struggling to keep the country safe from the Talibans, which is a almost impossible mission (They fight for Allah, they fight until death, no matter if they're disadvantaged or outnumbered)

I will not support both countries if they meet themselves in war, 'cause in the war, nobody wins on war: everybody loses on war

Im sorry for being off-topic, but is my opinion :lecture:
