So Far: As far as text files go, it's pretty much a giant list of numbers in a confusing manner. Is there a way I can use a spreadsheet instead and still have it work?
Also, I've begin to alter the speed of the Machine Guns, making them shoot anywhere from 2x faster to 4x faster while lowering damage output. Are you allowed to use decimals? Like 0.1 fire rate?

Excel for Windows supports editing our mod files, but unfortunately Excel for Mac does not.DTSX wrote:So Far: As far as text files go, it's pretty much a giant list of numbers in a confusing manner. Is there a way I can use a spreadsheet instead and still have it work?
Try OpenOffice Calc?

In fact, to prevent bugs, I would recommend leaving reload times no lower than 5, to accommodate upgrades. There are weapons (commander, primarily) with a reload time of 1, but those have no ROF upgrades.

Shoot... I see what you mean... So there really is no way of creating an actual machine gun is there? From what I read whatever number is put in is x/10 for the number of seconds. Is it possible to completely change this value to x/100 and readjust all the weapon protocols accordingly?
