It would be nice if the structures were damaged when they lose a bit of ''skill''.
For example : Also would be nice if the factory is damaged while it produces more slowly.

when all units are damaged into the red, including turrets, their reload time becomes significantly longer.. do you need more than that?

self-repair works.. eh its less micromanagement for the same result really. Early game i design my walls in such a way that i can station a truck in key areas to keep them repaired.

I think self repair works well enough as it is, although it might be interesting if there was some minor upgrades for it (after all, it is one of the few technologies that dont have upgrades associated with them)

Heck, upgrades to mobile repair turrets (besides the Heavy Repair Turret) would be nice, so that you have repair options in the midgame after you get heavy bodies but before you get the HRT.

There already is autorepair. It functions on all structures and vehicles.
