lav_coyote25 just got done testing your map and a test version compiled with flame. Kuky you owe lav an apology its not edit world that is the problem. I got the exact same errors on both versions. I'm going to do some more studying on it when I can. It shouldn't be doing this.

Powzone wrote:If we find more of these, then it's a bug in WZ itself. I had something similar playing playing on Milos 4c-NoLOS map. I posted a snippet containing just 1 second full of errors here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4868#p63180

The full log was something around 10MB while playing about 2 hours. It is always the same error saying a position is too big or too small. And the log file is o n l y 116891 lines. The NoLOS map made WZ crash after something around 15-20 minutes on my Eee, but I managed to play to the end on my custom PC having an even bigger logfile.

For the record I made 4c-NoLOS with flame so it is not an editor problem.
In general, if you see glowing, pulsating things in the game, you should click on them.

lav_coyote25 I had an earlier version of the map. So I decided to test it. It's giving the same error messages. This is on 2.3.1a. Maybe we should wait for 2.3.3 to test again. I hate to say this but you might have to start all over on the map. Do you have an earlier version saved which doesn't give these errors? If so you can restart from there.

lav_coyote25 just had an idea and tried it out. I converted your map into a lnd file using flaME and cleaned out all the objects in the map with a text editor. I then added the bare minimum to compile the map(a command center and a truck nothing else, no oil nothing) compiled it and started the game, built factory. Then had a tank constructed. Quit the game and checked the for an error report in warzone 2100 folder there was none there. So the problem is caused by one of the objects placed in the map.

You're welcome. No problem at all. It was just bugging me in the back of my mind what the problem was with the map.

lav_coyote25 was messing around with your map 8c-modoricam23. Played it for about 2 hours, checked for any errors found none reported. So the problem is fixed. It was probably a code problem.

I looked around the map with flaME 1.08(just a fast scan) and found 1 problem, 2 oil resources for player 3 are inaccessible. Here is a screen shot to show you the terrain. They are just north and a little east of the command center.

The 3 circled in red are in rubble where trucks can't go. Thought you might like to know in case you were still or planning to work on the map again.
