Personally I use ArchLinux, but I still have a lot of admiration for what Mark Shuttleworth and Canonical have done with the Ubuntu project by making it a major factor in popularizing the Linux ecosystem. Watch the video after the link for a pleasant demonstration of Ubuntu Netbook Remix (9.10).
