Yes, local IP. ;) Anything that doesn't have 192.168 in front of it isn't local/private.

I just tried to switch them, and it turned out disastrous. Lost internet on both computers and Xbox for 20 minutes had to do numerous power cycles to get the computers back to normal. I think i will just have to reset the router.

Yeah sorry for screwing up your network so bad, I've performed those steps on my own network before and it all went smoothly, so... :roll:

Next time, scotch-tape your router password on the router. ;)

Don't worry about it, i fixed it.

And i would, if i was the one setting up the passwords. But i didn't have a chance to so now i guess i will have to reset the router :augh:
