Hi.
As I see, now we have a problem like this: alot of tecnologies becomes absolutely useless, when improved technologies appears. Such as Light cannon, Light machinegun, small Mortar etc. When you got a Heavy cannon, surely you do not use Light on a battlefield. But in real armies many wehicles carry light weapons, only because it' is LIGHT. )))
So, here is an idea:
A paradrop transport (or landing and unloading), which can carry some weight limit of units. (Actually, it's little bit strange, that a cyborg takes as much room in current transport as heavy mobile hovitzer))) Transport can be designed as a special VTOL's turret, and availible in design screen. With this completly new kind of unit, game will become much more unpredictable and interesting.
What do you think, people?

Disscussed, but belongs into Ideas and Suggestions. Read the FPI. Mod, please put this in the appropriate area.

Especially the Void between the ears of people who think that No VTOL is a good idea, and won't lead to arty wars. I've won one, and I have to say: I hated it.

I have to agree with you on this oneGeneral_Chaos wrote:Actually, it's little bit strange, that a cyborg takes as much room in current transport as heavy mobile hovitzer
I wonder what would happen if two (or more) cyborgs were allowed in the place of the current slot for one cyborg in the unit transport?

Interesting idea about weight limits, but the problem I see is that the gamer probably wouldn't want to spend time trying to balance unit weights when loading onto the transport, especially in the heat of the battle. You'll probably hear suggestions to revert this feature to the present one if it were ever to be implemented.General_Chaos wrote:A paradrop transport (or landing and unloading), which can carry some weight limit of units.
