my old computer did that.. was absolutly HORRIBLE.. nearly all games running in 3d mode were ungodly dark and unplayable..
and its not the games fault its the fault of your graphics card..  try updating your drivers and doing a search int he forums of your GPU providers..

the way i had to go about it was getting use of some gamma correction software to hold me over till i had gotten a new computer.

@DFStormbringer: It seems that everyone thinks it's the driver. The odd part is that other OpenGL apps are working normally, and the process of upgrading the drivers in linux is pretty complex afaik. Unfortunately I can't afford to brake my system because is an work machine (laptop). I'll try searching the net for some similar behavior.

upgrading any kind of driver in a typical linux distro is unbearably simple and easy if the drivers are open source. remember, linux is all about open source, so installing closed-source drivers is sort of like giving a typical windows user the source code for their drivers and saying "there you go".

i said its the fault of your CARD... and to TRY updating your drivers.. that in the end i had to give up and use a gamma correction program.

i was using a voodoo1 and then a radeon 5200 on my old machiene.. and all games in oGL were dark..

being for you its JUST warzone.. and your on linux.. i dont know what to tell you.

@dcomsa: try this solution, it might work: http://wz2100.net/forum/http://localhos ... 6377#p6377
And if it does work please report it in that thread (or here, doesn't really matter).

I was having the same problem. My drivers are all up to date, but when I installed my Nvidia graphics card, everything seemed darker.

What I did is to install a freeware program called Gaming Helper which allows you to change the gamma setting with a hotkey. You can find it by doing a google search for ghelper.
