Hi!
If some suggestions for the german translation in 2.3.1:
(therefore the "Suggestions-Forum", dont know if im right ,-)
APFSDS-Rounds:
are translated with
"Panzerbrechende, seitenleitwerk-stabilisierte Treibspiegelgeschosse"
the (afaik) officiel Name used by the German Bundeswehr is
"Panzerbrechenden, flügelstabilisierten Treibkäfiggeschosse"
"flügelstabilisiert" and not "seitenleitwerk-stabilisiert" because APDFSDS-Rounds uses a horizontal and a vertical stabilizer, not only a horizontal one (Seitenleitwerk).
"Treibkäfig" because (only afaik!) fin stabelized kind of sabot-amunition is called "spindel- or ring-sabot" what should be translated as "Treibkäfig". "Treibspiegel" should be the english "base-sabot" and ist not used for FS-Amunition.
Assault Gun:
Is translated as "Sturmgewehr". But "Sturmgewehr" translated backwards is "Assaultrifle", not "Assaultgun".
I think its not possible to translate Assaultgun directly.
The name "Assaultgun" or "Sturmgeschütz" was introduced in WW1 and WW2 and was used for armored tracked-propulled guncarrier, not only the gun. (Like a tank, but with a strickt forward pointing weaponsystem)
If you consider the heavy-maschingun-caliber in its description and compair the nearly same damage the Assaultgun and HMG does, the Assaultgun should be defined as Minigun, which could be translated to "Minigun" or "Rotations-Maschinengewehr"
AA Ammunition hopper
AA ammunition hopper are used e.g. in the M1939 or 40mm Bofors. The ammunition hopper ist normaly translated as "Kastenmagazin mit Ladestreifen", "Munitionszufuhr mittels Ladestreifen" or just "Ladestreifen"
Just some things ive seen while playing ,-)
Greetings,
Ryo

Re: German Translation suggestions
Please contact Kreuvf for that, he maintains the German translation, and I'm not sure if he follows this forum (PM or warzone2100.de should work).
