my desktop won't start correctly after quit warzone

when i quit warzone, my desktop won't start correctly, and i have a black screen with mouse, and nothing else.
what should i do?
I Use Fedora 13 X86-64 and i installed warzone by yum.

Most likely this problem has something to do with your graphics driver. But I would wait for more insight from others if I were you.

It is a driver/library problem, so you should report the bug to Fedora.

Just out of curiosity, is compiz or kde4 involved? Their transparency effects tend to mess up a lot of OpenGL applications like WZ.

You have not mentioned anything about video cards and drivers, but it is worth noting that the manufacturer's drivers tend to do better with 3d graphics than the open source versions.

so KDE 4.4.4 and compiz
on Fedora 13

The nVidia cards with the manufacturer's drivers generally do quite well with OpenGL on Linux. KDE4 desktop effects and compiz, not so much. Although compiz has gotten better over time as bugs were fixed.
