Screenshots at end of post.
8 bases each with 8 oil.
32 total oil outside of bases.
96 oil total.
The title is a bit of a shoutout. I tried to make this map interesting, balanced, and dynamic. It's mostly snow, though. In terms of strategy, the basics should work here: take and hold oil.
Controlling the center is of course beneficial. From the center, you can fire indirectly on your opponents or coordinate more effective attacks.
I am very proud of this map - enjoy playing!

Took a quick look before I had to go to work. Very interesting and creative. You can tell right off you put a lot of thought and care in it's crafting. And it's NOT geometrically symmetrical - YEA !! I look forward to checking it out in Ski after work tonight.
Lot's of resource, but scattered around the map, it's somewhat huge, requires a good strategy to the player, or it will be overrun by AI or any experiencied human player.
The narrow passage on the north of the map can become a real death-corridor to any unwarned player.
As Dylan sayed before, control of the center of map is a great priority if a player wants to dominate the map.
If people might want to look Dylan's Professional Handbook, they'll would achieve success in this map.
ok black,, handbooks are all well and dandy but it is better to work through experience. play around a lot and find out how YOU play the game and what weapons work for you and so on...
lolz i havent played this map because it wont let me but i think it looks like a great artillery map. something to use with lots of small quick artillery outposts. my win win situation.

My guide doesn't tell people how to play the game nor what weapons to use - it merely introduces people to the mechanics of the game. Please do not criticize my work without reading or using it first.
Pros:
Something new, not symmetrical and boring like NTW
Resembles the campaign style maps.
practically eliminates tyrtling
Cons:
The map is a polygonal catastrophe, oils are inside the ground, buildings sink.
The starting point in the bottom left corner is at a unfair advantage, having the easiest, most direct route to the center...
All of the starting points, excluding 4 (the corner) have little space to build a full base.
distinguishing areas that cannot be passed, or passed can be difficult sometimes.
Overall: The map shows a lot of effort, perhaps too much. The map feels jaggety as your tanks rock over the terrain. the scattered oil puts the thought of real strategy into players minds, but starting point 4, the bottom left corner will almost always have first acess to oil, as well as only 1 choke point, and the most flat, largest base area.
