Team of Map Testers

Post by JDW »

Do you play MP games online? Would you like to help map creators by test driving their maps?

Often map creators are looking for constructive feedback from the community. What I am proposing is why not we, as the community, get together and create a team of online players who are ready to play new maps posted on Showcase. This could also extend to testing new mods.

So please post here to show your interest to participate. What's even better is if you would like to have your own local team, perhaps your group of friends. Since hosting is also a major issue, try and resolve this as well.

What is important is providing useful feedback only if the map creator has asked for it.

I'm interested in it myself, and who knows, maybe we can get some new map makers in here at the same time ^_^

I only have time to play Skirmish or Multiplayer on weekdays night (On Brazil, of course, check the timezone between your country and mine) and full time only on saturdays & sundays (Weekend)

But don't ask me to test NTW maps-like :3 I know where it's storyline begins and ends XD :lol2:

I know BP's statement has some hidden meaning, but as I'm not very familiar with NTW maps, I didn't get it. :?

NTW is a flat high oil map. Basically, it's just a square map with clusters of 24 oil where each base goes.

Ah. thanks Zarel.

Interesting thing that I noticed while playing MP (only very recently) is that players are very divided when it comes to playing NTW and non-NTW maps. I haven't come across someone who likes to play both. Really interesting phenomemon.
