Exception Handler 1400 error when using cheats

Hello,

When ever I attempt to use cheats(by either shift+backspace or using 'cheat on') Warzone crashes with the error 'Exception handler 1400: Invalid window handle'. I am using warzone 2.3.1 and am using windows 2000 SP4. Attached are my logs.

edit: I tried upgrading to 2.3.1a, and I still get the same error.

What kind of hardware do you got ?

Makes me think of a video driver issue, since it is trying to get a window handle, and it can't get it...

It probably is, considering how poor hardware this is.

System:
HP Omnibook 4150
Windows 2000 Professional SP4
Pentium III 500 MHz
ATI Rage Mobility P/M AGP 2x(using drivers from the end of '99, I cannot find any later drivers)
256 MB ram

Like I said, if it can be a hardware issue, it probably is. I know that at the bear minimum the textures for the map don't load correctly(which is a driver issue). It still looks decent though...

It a problem with Warzone 2100 and Windows 2000. When you hit ( shift + backspace ) or typing "cheat on" without quotes in the game that os is Windows 2000, Warzone will crash. If the os is Windows XP or higher then cheat works fine but the cheat doesn't work with Windows 2000.

I tried on 1 desktop with 3Ghz with ht and a 2 Ghz notebook and because they are running 2000, Warzone crashes. My netbook, the cheat run fine but that running Windows XP.
