I see that some people are proposing a few changes from the original design, like lengthenting the repair arm.
However I must remind you that these models are supposed to have the same style and dimensions as the original, we remake them, not redesign them :lecture: .
You are still welcome to propose any design changes but some are less likely to be implemented than others
Also if anyone wants do changes himself i can send you .blend/.3ds/.obj files with my models (for non-commercial use in conjunction with the warzone project only)

Warzone 2100 needs redesing...
WZ2100 was supposed to be realistic but because of limitations the models couldt look realistic and please make better textures for the repair turret, because the 3.0 version should have "HD" textures if someone wants "HD"...

So i propose that there is two version.
Normal one and the "HD". HD version should only have better textures, effects and models with more polygons/tris...

It is the problem of another mod/project. We are only going to remake all models and textures in a better quality.

Remember: while "HD" *can* be good, it too often just means you use hi-res textures and models without the need for optimising, requiring unnecessarily much system resources possibly reducing the stability of the game engine, giving only a marginal increase in visual quality.

This is the first time I am disappointed with one of your models.
I think you should make it look more fragile by making all components thinner.
This one looks too masive.

Well, it looks like that in game.
That's the cool thing about it. Fragile weapon useless against most of things, but can blow up almost any building in single shot

.

The Bunker Buster wielded by a Cyborg looking fragile would make sense compared to a BB tank turret I'm thinking. But I see no reason why a BB Tank Turret should look as fragile as a Cyborg's BB. Just my 2 cents.

I agree that it seems to lack the detail that is seen in the other models which are being redesigned. Although the bunker buster isn't supposed to be a "fragile" weapon (if there is one,) it seems to me that the apparent "bulk" (or possibly lack of detail) of it is what scrutiny is falling on.

Just an old NEWST Mod. It was a Dual Weap Borg and one of the Weaps was a BB that was modified from stock & looked "fragile" in comparison. That's all. (The dual weap was done thru scripting, btw.)

I got one request...
Can you make in some parts of your bunker buster a bit less tris...
Because bunker buster is precise weapon and it should be laser designator on it...

Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe it's just the perspective, but I get the impression there will be clipping issues then the weapon tilts up or down. The turret substructure may need a groove below the launch tube or sloped top face to compensate.
