The faster the game is, the more boring is the game it self, i dont like games that have have units characters that moves really fast...

rusher can be very annoying sometimes. the best to stop them is to grab atleast 8 oil and the fortify as much as you can. then have your atillery pound them to bits. that is basicly my strategy....
air superiority is very crusial.

Did you mean to say that the Oil Derrek could use a module upgrade? Like how factories, research facilities and power generators can have new upgrade modules built on top of the old structure?

Make it so instead of the oil derricks going up and down to mine put a drill on it and make it go into the terrain
The thing we keep calling a derrick is actually a pump jack. A derrick is a tall scaffold-like tower used to drill for oil. A pump jack is used to pump oil out of the ground when there is not enough natural pressure to make it flow.

I mentioned my idea of individual "derrick upgrades" or "derrick modules" to Zarel a while ago and put out the word via PM to some modders ... once researched they would cost a lot (like 400 for T2, 1000 for T3) but would double the oil output each time. So if you had one derrick, and you upgraded it for 400, it would act as 2 and be fortified against damage. Upgrade it again, and it is further fortified and acts as 4.

I like this idea, Oil Derrek needs some loving guys. Maybe even a futuristic-looking structure upgrade, they shouldn't look like the pump jack of today, it needs a more 2100 look. Something creative, different, innovative. Concept is the word I was looking for.. :ninja:

I like the idea of being able to solidify your control of a resource; ex. take it from the enemy and then later build fortifications, it matches how the like would play out in real combat.

The oil derrick is suppose to be simple, as the economic micro required for the upgradeable Mass Extractor in Supreme Commander is out of place in Warzone 2100.

I like this idea, maybe even at t3 it can produce power at a t1 level if no power plant is present? haha

Maybe not so much as double the production, maybe multiply it by 1.4 each upgrade, but focus on increasing it's armor and hp.
