Helmet that allows a pilot to peer through his Jet?

I stumbled across an article that I thought would interest some of you. Haven't we all watched movies in which a fighter pilot can't get a good view beyond the zone of vision that is allowed by the jet's windshield? (Ex: Iron Man)

Well, there a concept technology that could change all that. It's a few years old though. It allows the pilot to see right through his Jet, increasing his vision..

Oh man, that would be a cool upgrade, right? But I don't think it's going to happen since there is a big debate on units being manned or unmanned. People who support manned units may like this idea. And guys who think that VTOLs are unmanned would hate this idea. Too bad, right? :/
