As of August, 3, 2010. There is no longer and *** clan, I have disbanded it due to inactivity, if you are interested in creating a group, please post so and we'll make a group/clan. As such all group members must use Xfire so that we can keep in contact and know when a member is on, it also lets us get into games with each other so we aren't stuck with just random players that don't talk or communicate. It'll help out with devising strategies and doing team battles so we can come up with rank system based on skill and performance. My new Xfire name is Rant72, feel free to add me thanks!
Hello, we are a clan that plays many games and usually the best games, ones with Style, Complexity, and Commitment. Warzone 2100 has an on going game for more than 10 years, it is an honor to say this game has gone through many changes and updates and constantly hold a title for the most customizable RTS game ever made.
We are friendly and always welcome new comers to the clan. So don't be afraid to check us out! See you in game!
Current Members that play WZ2100:
Zach - Leader -Xfire:********
Frink - Co-Leader - Xfire: Frink454
Mayalyn - Member - Xfire: Mayalyn214
Cain - Member - Xfire: Vaygrman
73h_p0W - Member - Xfire: powzone *New*
*Note* 10/5/09 - if you want to be referred under a different name let me know. =)
And expecting more! We may start requiring member to tag their names in game to ***** if other clans popup. As well as we expect our member to help advertise the existence of this game to their friends and online communities to help boost the popularity of the game and bring more players for online play.
If the admins want to make a clan forum for the game its up to them, else I don't where I should have posted this.

Well, since no one has replied to this thread in a while I guess I'll bump it with this announcement.
*Announcement*
Still looking for anyone who's interested in join a Clan on Warzone 2100. It will help us become more organized and we can setup 4V4 matches a lot easier when we have group effort. It also allows us to decide upon the skills levels of each of our members. We will have a ranking system and everything, if needed I can setup a forums section on my website so everyone to stay in touch. I'd prefer using WZ21000.net since we already have the oppurtunity to announce our existing to players of WZ2100 here.
Maybe joining the team will help me become a better player. Right now, I'm not the best player in the world.
If I join this team, you guys will have to take note that I have a glitchy, slow, and weak connection, in addition to a laptop with exactly the same problems.
But maybe this will be a great learning experience for me, as I've never ever faced a real player before.

Joining a clan is pretty pointless, and it pisses me off to see your hosting private matches reducing the amount of overall players to play with. Do not host password protected servers, it's like taking a chunk of the already small playing community from us.
This is just a dam power hungry nerd who wants people to be under him, joining a clan in warzone has no benefits that are worth mentioning.

Every player has a right to host their game they way they like it, and the right to choose whom they would like to play with. That is how the lobby server has been designed, which has it's own advantages.
How many of your friends have you introduced to WZ2100? Have you ever hosted a private LAN tournament? These are some ways in which you could help to increase the size of the "small playing community" instead of blaming others for it.
EDIT: Please don't feel offended. My point is that since WZ2100 is no longer a retail version, there is not much marketing going on to spread awareness on the existence of the project. Word-of-mouth and reviews on blogs/game-news are some of the ways that are the most effective right now.

There's no power in having a clan, unless you want it to be that way. I can't control people and tell them what to do, that is their own choice, no one is under me, it's just a decision of recruiting ability and title of skill. The only benefits of clans, are that you're supposed to be able to find some who will play with you and become friends with you, and that there will always be someone on to play with. That's the idea anyways. Verin I don't know what you have against clans personally, but I can assure you, there's no chunk or removal of players from the community than there is already.
I've seen a few cheaters, those who have ridiculous energy, and those who can manufacture units 10 times faster than possible. I think if the engine was designed more to run the game server sided only, then cheaters would become unseen. However it is unlikely this will ever happen, without a new engine and revamp of the game. Years of work for such a small team.
I've played 8 online games in the past week, and only had 1 private game. I try to play online more than private, because of the challenges. I don't think it is fair to play skirmishes or private games all the time, but sometime those are the only fun games for people. Campaign mode, skirmishes, challenge mode, and private games consume a lot of time as well, most beginners need to try these so that they can be prepared for online. Online games can be decided either quickly or in hours. Some people don't have hours, which can be reasonable for why they go for private games, so when they have to leave because of a long game, no one is going to get mad.
I understand how you feel Verin, but understand, that it is not that case in this instance. Also, I would like to thank j0shdrunk0nwar for his point as well. If people don't like the small community, THEN ADVERTISE. It is the only way the community is going to grow.

Thank you Verin
